Tyson Elementary School is located in the Sardis area of Chilliwack, a growing city with a population over 75,000 and a strong agricultural history, that is now an interesting mix of rural and suburban.

Our school consists of 11 classrooms that house close to 300 students from Grades K-6. Our staff includes 11 classroom teachers, one Learning Assistance/Resource Teacher, one Teacher-Librarian, one Principal, two Education Assistants, one Aboriginal EA, custodial staff and a secretary. The school has an active PAC group that strongly supports the school.
